Like little children, reduced to little more than animals, we wandered for centuries as our foolish civilization collapsed around us. Everything fell into ruins. The ruins turned to dust. And the dust was scattered in the winds. At that time the world had another name.

Anima Beyond Fantasy Prologue (Role Playing Game, Basic).

Welcome to a short introduction to the role-playing game of Anima. A novel game, which in recent years has caused a sensation among players, from the most novice to the most experienced.

Anima is a role-playing system developed in parallel by Japanese and European authors, which tries to bring together the play style of both cultures to create a new and refreshing experience.

Anima's setting is inspired by elements from well-known oriental fantasy sagas, presenting a completely original background. The world it recreates, called Gaïa, immerses you in a fantasy setting that combines the mystical with the realistic, the truth with the lies, and the light with the darkness. It is a place that adapts to the style of any group of players, from a classic "kill-kill" to a series of intrigues and conspiracies, where you can embody mere thieves and powerful supernatural entities. Gaïa tries to reflect the spirit of the great epic sagas (western and eastern). It offers you the possibility to be a participant in its history and get involved in the depths of its roots. It is a land full of mysteries and adventures, where man has relegated the supernatural to myths, simple stories to scare children.

Anima also offers us a detailed character creation system, which allows us to configure our abilities and powers with complete freedom, giving free rein to the imagination in a brutal way.

The system is based on d100 (dice of 100 or two dice of 10, 2d10), this system, together with a complex but practical regulation, leaves much to chance and makes the actions of the characters (pjs) more real.

It also includes an extensive list of special abilities that are available to players:

MAGIC: With a grimoire with 500 spells, which allow the magician to enhance its effects depending on the amount of magic points that he invests in the spell.

KI DOMAINS: An elaborate Ki skill system, allowing fighters to perform incredible feats and execute special attacks. Also included are all the necessary rules for players to invent their own combat techniques.

SUMMON: Skills that allow you to summon creatures to fight alongside you, and summon great powers to perform spectacular special attacks.

MENTALISM: 8 different psychic disciplines, containing dozens of different powers, such as Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Telemetry, ... etc.

ELAN: An extensive list of divine gifts among fourteen great powers to choose from.

In brief we will also be able to enjoy The Player's Diary (Female and Male), which is offered to us as a small notebook designed to document the exploits and misadventures of your characters (pjs). This journal does not replace the character sheet but rather complements it.

Ánima is not just a simple role-playing game, the panorama created by Ánima also includes two parallel games:

ANIMA TACTICS

The 36mm miniature game in which players control groups of characters endowed with unique powers and supernatural abilities.

Which has:

–AnimaTactics Saga I & II: Awakening & Rise (Anima Tactics Guide, where you will find all the elements you will need for your games, from its complete rules to a detailed background of each of its organizations and characters.)

And a lot of miniatures introduced in 3 categories: LIGHT, DARK and NEUTRAL.

Luckily every day the collection of miniatures is expanded, thus giving the possibility of exploring new horizons in the fantasies of the amateur players.

Non-collectible card game in which you will have to form a group of heroes, visit the most exciting locations and complete a series of risky missions with the help of powers and abilities that will allow you to avoid all kinds of dangers.
