Music Band Masterly
By Ester
It all started in approximately 2002. David (guitar), Joel (drums), Toni (guitar) and Jad (bass) started the project that was still a simple sketch and without a name. The band went through several changes, with Joel, Toni and Jad remaining the ones to keep going.
The additions of Maiol (keyboards) and Rut (voice) in 2007 shaped what was baptized Masterly. Thus, with this formation, the group gave numerous concerts with good critical and public acceptance.
At the end of 2007, for personal reasons, Jad said goodbye to the group and Masterly, without wasting time, spent a long time composing, while looking for a bass player. This is how it was when in mid-2008 they signed Óscar, recording Part of me at the Dante Studios, with Israel Ramos and Raúl Sousa as producers.
In early 2009, for personal reasons, Ruth left Masterly.
The formation, far from being discouraged, did not rest until it found the right voice. With Dazz there was a radical change in the group's style, which led to Sicus (also recorded at the Dante Studios, with the production of Leo Jiménez).
Sicus defines the current era ... crazy, challenging ...
