Tremendous Stories offers us 24 stories that hit absolutely all the emotional keys of the reader, except those of boredom and indifference. Enrique Sánchez Abulí is not only the mythical creator of Torpedo 1936, he is also one of the most solid screenwriters in the history of Spanish comics. Absolute master in a genre of his own, almost invented by him, which could be called the "tremebundísimo", brother of the tragicomedy and the grotesque, these stories bring together the best of the black genre, intrigue, terror, tragedy and comedy to peek out to an absolutely "tremendous" panorama of life, where cruelty and tenderness are sometimes the same.
To give visual life to these little masterpieces, as long as there are hours in the day, Abulí has had two recognized geniuses from two ends of the world, only united by their mastery of black and white: firstly, the Argentine Oswal, one of the stars of the adult comics of the 80s, an absolute virtuoso of dynamism and the line for fine palates; and on the other hand, the Serbian Darko comes to us, an author of forceful drawing capable of overwhelming us with the spectacular nature of his line. Both have established a relationship of absolute complicity and understanding with their screenwriter, to offer us these 24 gems that are but a unique point of view on that animal called human.
The best Spanish genre comic scriptwriter combines his talent with that of two internationally renowned artists.
